In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant, George holds an AB in Mathematics and Economics and an MBA. After receiving his MBA, George worked for Coopers and Lybrand, an international public accounting firm for three years and in the construction industry for one year. In 1990, he opened a public accounting firm in Webster, New Hampshire. Since 1990 George has been in public accounting and has over 33 years of experience as a CPA.
George’s education and strong background in both corporate and public accounting has provided him with a wide variety of experiences in the accounting field. He has extensive experience regarding both individual and business tax matters. His experience includes financial statement audits of public and private companies, design of accounting systems and internal controls, advising on the purchase, sale, and start up of a business, tax preparation, and tax planning.
George is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. George has served in the past on the Board of Directors of The New Hampshire Society of Accountants and has been an advisor to the Board of Directors of the non-profit Kearsarge Assets Network, Inc. George was a member of the Merrimack Valley School District School Board from 1992-2001, where he chaired the Finance Committee. George also was a selectman for the Town of Webster from 2006-2012 and was chairman of the Board in 2008-2009. Currently, George serves on the Finance Committee of Immaculate Conception Church in Penacook, NH.
George lives in Webster, NH with his wife, Elaine.
